The Thunder Bay Community Tennis Centre will open for business on May 1, 2015. Full programming will begin then, weather permitting.
Jamie Grieve is our Head Pro. As a USPTA Certified Pro 1, he is available for private or group lessons. You can contact the Centre to make arrangements with him. Jamie is a native of Thunder Bay, a past Mid Canada Open champion, and has been leading the Tennis Centre for the past 13 years. His skills and experience make him a true asset to the Centre.
Kelly McGuire will be returning as our Assistant Pro / Junior Development Coordinator. He is certified by the Ontario Tennis Association as a Level 1 Instructor. His years of experience in this role, his pleasant personality and his commitment to tennis in Thunder Bay will be an asset this season. The success of any tennis facility is always measured by the strength of its Junior Development program and we are confident Kelly will excel in this role.
Jordee Matson will also be returning as an Assistant Pro. Jordee is also certified by the Ontario Tennis Association as a Level 1 instructor. She comes off a winter season of playing competitive tennis for St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. We are confident that she will share her new level of experience and knowledge with our membership.
