Jamie has been teaching at the Thunder Bay Community Tennis Centre since 1991 after a successful junior career.  In 1998 and 2000, Jamie won the Men's Singles Event of Thunder Bay's most prestigious tournaments, the Mid Canada Open.  He has been the Head Pro since 2000 where he has been dedicated to improving the tennis community in Thunder Bay.  From running summer and winter training programs for our most competitive juniors, to organizing tournaments and developing and running programming for Centre members, Jamie's affable personality and high level knowledge of the game of tennis have afforded him opportunities to teach tennis in some of the most desired tennis destinations in the world.  Most recently, he served as a hosting Pro at one of Curacao's most prestigious resorts.

Jamie's true skill lies in his development of junior players.  Under his direction, several junior players are now benefiting or have benefited from scholarships to play at a varsity level at Division 1 through 3 colleges in the U.S.

Jamie's dedication and expertise rank him as one of the top teaching professionals in Canada.  From a beginner to an advanced player, participating in the sport is a pure pleasure with this coach.  We are proud of and blessed with his commitment to our Centre.
